Treasure Island

Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson (1850–1984) - A famous Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer. A literary celebrity during his lifetime, Stevenson now ranks among the 26 most talented authors in the world. His most famous works are the Treasure Island, Kidnapped, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and A Child’s Garden of Verses. Treasure Island, first published in 1883, is an adventure novel, narrating a tale of "buccaneers and buried gold". It is traditionally considered a coming-of-age story, and is noted for its atmosphere, characters, and action.
